Best practice for deploying the X-ray simulator using Intune or other MDM systems
The Desktop and VR X-Ray Simulator is distributed as a standalone .exe
installer.
To deploy either application silently through your MDM system, please use the command provided below.
Change the file name and path to suite the version that your are installing.
This ensures:
C:\Windows\Temp\XRaySimulatorInstall.log
)Application installs by default to:
Platform varies with VR or Desktop version.
No license entry or additional configuration is required at install time.
Installation must be run with administrative privileges.
If a silent uninstall command is required, use:
Change the file name depending on what version you are uninstalling, and change the path if you changed the default install location.
If your MDM solution requires a detection rule to verify successful installation, we recommend checking for the existence of:
Detection can also optionally be based on the presence of the application’s uninstall registry entry if preferred.
